Whetu Fun Day
Last Thursday we had a Whetu Fun Day as our camp was postponed. Our teachers planned a fun day for us instead! We participated in a Whetu Amazing Race, a range of different fun rotations, a BBQ lunch and play on the council playground then we finished the day with an Easter Egg hunt and an ice block.
My favourite part of the Amazing Race was running around and shooting hoops at the netball court my group was really bad at it but we had tons of fun I had Cullen, Franklin, Darius, Christian, Marcus and myself in my group my dad was the manager of my group.
The rotation I enjoyed the most was team games my favourite part was running to the cones and hoping that you got your colour because the team that got their colour the fastest won!
During the Easter Egg Hunt I found my stick by a tree and a slab of concrete it was sticking out of the ground It was purple I traded it for an Iceblock and an easter egg.
It was really cool to have your dad there for our Whetu Fun Day - he was great. It was such a great day.
