Term 3 Whetū Workshops Reflection

 Whetū Workshops Reflection

During Term 2 and 3 the Whetū students have had the opportunity to be involved in a range of different workshops.

The workshop that I have enjoyed participating in the most has been fitness.

The new learning that I have learned is when you put milk with food coluring it makes a cool reaction.

What I have most enjoyed about the workshops are that I got to do something new every time.

I am interested in learning more about chemical reactions in science.

Should animals be kept in zoos?

This term we have been deciding if animals should be kept in zoos or not. To show our opinion we had to choose from three different ways to present it. Our three presentation options were either a poster, brochure, or an advertisement. I chose to do the poster. In my opinion, it's ok for animals to be kept in zoos. Here is my poster.

Cross Country Reflection

 Cross Country Reflection 2020

This year I participated in the NPS Cross Country held at school on the Ngatea Domain.  I ran in the 10-year-olds age group.

I am most proud of myself when I found out I made it to Hauraki Plains.

I think my effort towards our training at school was pretty good. I tried my best in training and I came 4th.

I showed the Learning Power of Resilience by almost running the whole thing, I just took a few quick walking breaks near the end.

Here is a photo of me running.

Chapter chat

This week for chapter chat we got to choose from four different tasks. I chose the freak out scale task because I was able to do some creative writing and colouring. Our book for chapter chat is Wink.
